Africa Asia & Australia Central America Europe North America South America
After seeing the artice on the website, I immediately took the title as a challenge to my seemingly superior geography knowledge. I figured I would have known at least a third of the destinations….Then I read the article…and it turned out that I wasn’t too genious.
THE SCORECARD: the the bold destinations are the places I’ve heard of.
- Sal, Cape Verde - I immediately thought Mexico, but no, it’s in Africa.
- Siwa, Egypt - ?
- Imlil, Morocco - Yes, I know this one. I saw it on a Morroccan map before I went there.
- Agadez, Niger- I Couldn’t even point out where Niger is.
- Simpson Desert, Australia-?
- Mahansar, India - ?
- Inami, Japan - ? Is it by Tokyo?

Ok, I scored a 4/25. Only 21 wrong. 16%. Whoops. This was a lot better list than I thought it was. I figured I would get some more in Europe or North America. But some of these places are really out of the way, and I have to give Mr. Frommer and friends credit for finding and researching them. For more info just check out the article above.
