The Budget Travel wishlist of Moi

Problogger is having a new group writing project that I think would be beneficial to participate in since I am a new Darren Rowse disciple. This writing project is “Lists” so decided to create…
My Budget Travel Wishlist - I’ll limit it to only seven right now
1. Typical “Backpack through Europe” - The typical 20-something backpacking trip through Europe making stops at the usual places. Sleep on the Eurail, stay in hostels, go to bars, and a lot of wandering aimlessly.
2. Backpack through Thailand and Indochina - Hitting all the stops in Southeast Asia. What I consider a more advanced trip because of the more drastic cultural differences. A little more hippy, and a lot less expensive.
3. Peru!- Lima and whatever else is close by in Peru. I’d see a local shaman, stay in a hostel, and enjoy the strong dollar in the exchange rate. Peru would also help me brush up on some Spanish skills I have.
4. Bora Bora - Tahitian relaxation. Ok, I know, not exactly budget…so maybe I’ll find an employer to pay for it? But staying in one of those bungalows over the water looks like too much fun.
5. Chile - One more trip to practice a little Spanish. Looks like a cool place. I’d like to walk around in Santiago and go snowboarding.
6. Russia + Ukraine - Check out my ancestry roots and enjoy the old world charm in Kiev, Ukraine.
7. Prague + Vienna + Bratislava - More eastern Europe. It’d be nice to see these places in the winter. The temperatures aren’t too bad, considering what I’m accostomed to in the winter.
So there it is. I could probably put about thirty other destinations on here, but that wouldn’t be cool.
